Internal & External Door Carpentry: Expert Hanging Services in Coventry

Sticking, rattling, or poorly hung doors can be a daily frustration. I provide expert hanging services for internal and external doors, ensuring they look great and operate smoothly.

What are the benefits of professionally fitted doors?

Custom Fitting for Period & Modern Homes:

Older properties in Coventry often have “out of square” door frames. I specialize in hand-trimming and planning internal and external doors to ensure a perfect, snug fit regardless of the age of your property. This attention to detail prevents sticking and unsightly gaps, providing a premium feel every time you enter a room.

High-Security External Door Installation:

Your front and back doors are your home’s first line of defense. My carpentry services include the expert installation of solid timber or composite doors, ensuring they are hung with reinforced hinges and high-security British Standard locks. This combination of traditional woodworking and modern security hardware keeps your family safe and your home draught-free.

Did you know?

Poorly fitted doors are a leading cause of heat loss. Professional fitting keeps the warmth in and the noise out.

Professional Hardware & Finishing:

A door is only as good as its hardware. I provide precision mortising for handles, latches, and locks, ensuring smooth operation without rattling. By choosing professional installation, you avoid the common mistakes of splintered wood or misaligned strikes, resulting in a clean, polished finish that enhances the overall aesthetic of your hallway or interior.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mark and Dan single handedly saved my loft extension project after a previous structural engineer had reduced my finished head height to under 1.9m. They knew the right person to get in who came up with a solution and I'm now at over 2.1m which is a huge difference. I've been over the moon with the work and attention to detail. I've thrown everything at them and they've delivered. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. As a small business we approached Daniel to carry out some work for us.
He was professional and open when giving us a quote, discussing areas of safety we hadn’t thought of. He sourced the materials discussing these along the way and offering many options to suit our needs.
The work was carried out professionally, cleanly and on time, this guy knows his craft! The finished project was better that we imagined and Daniel left with ‘any problems or anything you are not happy with let me know’ we didn’t have to!
We would definitely use him again
